BIO:

Melik “Hitman” Elliston started boxing in 2005 and is a 2 time Silver Glove National Champion, Title National Champion, Junior Olympic Silver Medalist, Ringside World Champion, 4 time State Golden Glove Champion with over 70 amateur fights. He trained with Ron Lyle prior to Coach Everette Elliston who is now his full time coach. He is a member of the “Athletics & Beyond Student Athlete program” and maintains a 3.5 grade point average in high school. Through Athletics & Beyond and Red Shield Melik exercises his civic responsibilities to the community working with underserved youth and maintains his spiritual balance by attending church. He also is in the Robotics Club at East High School and is a fond lover of animals.

He is a good role model to many children and his little brothers and sisters. Melik is very dedicated to his family, education and craft. His dream is to go to the Olympics and win the gold medal for his country and advance to the professional arena while continuing to give back to his community.

BOXING ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Melik's goal is to get on the U.S.A Olympic Boxing Team and then turn professional. He has won several trophies and numerous medals in the short time he has been in the amateur boxing arena:

2004 Runner up for Colorado Youth Wrestling Sportsman of The Year.

Numerous 1st & 2nd place awards throughout his 4 year wrestling career.
